Competition Rules
The competition is open to all international educators. All you need to do is create an ISN account and submit a 1000 – 1500 words article on one of the following topics: ​

Article Guidelines

Pick the title you are most passionate about! ​

Select one or two questions that will help frame the topic you have chosen. The best articles are generally practical and solutions-focused ​

Make it personal, explain why you care about this topic ​

Make it important, explain why and how this topic may be important to others and what the benefits of a positive outcome might be

Discuss your experience, share setbacks and successes in your narrative ​
6
List / discuss the key takeaways or learnings that can advise and help guide the reader (‘evergreen’ content resonates well i.e. advice that remains relevant for future readers)
7
Sum up your thoughts/insights, perhaps posing a question back to the reader to encourage further discussion around the topic ​
8
Include any references you’ve referred to ​

Entrants must be international educators.

Each entrant must be an ISN member.

Each person may only submit one entry.

Submissions must be written in English.

Submissions must use one of the three given titles.

Entries must be original and must not be published elsewhere.

For entries to qualify they must be submitted to articles@isn.education

Articles must be within the 1500 wordcount. Titles and diagrams are not counted in the wordcount.

Submission deadline is 15 December 2022.

The winners will be notified in January 2023.

Selected entries will be published on ISN and may also be promoted throughout our wider network, including the ISN LinkedIn and Newsletter.
